The part that's not coming through on Wainwrights quote is that he's undoubtedly laughing his way through the explanation. He tried to make the adjustment, sure, but he screwed up so bad that there's no way anybody could answer that reporter with a straight face.

Why not just make it 3 balls, 2 strikes for the walk/KO count? He's arguing for a contrived version of the USAA/ASA slow pitch softball rules.

Here's the thing. I didn't take to the streets over Reagan. Or Dubya. Or even Trump. But if MLB even floats that as a trial balloon I'm strapping on my C4 vest and heading to 245 Park Avenue.
