2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

So the Season kicks off on Tuesday with the Tour Down Under, Cadel's final race. Don't see where anyone, Bein and NBC Sports in my case, is carrying it, unless NBC is going to run a recap after it is over.

Velogames is running a fantasy game if interested

League Name: USCHO
League Code: 18141002

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Kittel wins the pre-TDU event, the People's Choice Classic, rather easily. I already dislike their kits. Too much black, they look like every other team.

If you are set on watching it, there are plenty of streams and yesterday/this morning the rumor was that they weren't geo-restricted. Or you can simply download Hola and tell them that you are in Oz.

Entered the League though it is by far the most bizzare selection process ever. I got everyone I wanted. I have like the 6 top sprinters and like 3 top draw GC men.

Great stage today in Dubai. Everyone was worried about Cavendish, but surprisingly he wasn't in it at the end. Astana looked like they went too early and Giant looks to be a factor going forward.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Fantastic. This thread means spring is coming!

Looks like Cance wins a small group sprint in the middle east. Cool.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Het Volk was so disappointing today. First Boonen loses, then Terpstra loses, then Vandenberg loses, then Stannard wins, and Sky wins. Ugh! EQS did everything perfect including having Stybar in the chase, only to screw it all up.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

K-B-K again save QuickStep's weekend. Cav wins after EQS again animated the race.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

NBCSN will be showing Paris-Nice beginning this weekend, while the BeIN network will begin showing Tirreno-Adriatico the middle of next week. I assume they're showing the whole thing, but so far, I've only seen the first two stages listed on their schedule. That should be a good one, with Froome, Nibali, Contador and Quintana all set to start. BeIN also is showing Strade Bianche on Monday.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Stybar wins Strade Bianche from Van Avermat and Valverde. Clearly the strongest rider on the day. Very Impressive win. Another win for the EQS classics team.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

They are doing a Paris Nice game on Velo games. Nice week for cycling with Paris Nice and Tirano Adriatico on every day.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

And Tommeke crashes and dislocates his shoulder in Paris-Nice, out for the classics. What a disaster! Lets go Stybar in RvV and Terpstra in P-R!

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Yeah, he'll be the favorite. But I want a competitive race, Cance is just as likely to solo from 50K. I could live with Vanmarcke, who has been super strong, but I'm a Mapei/Domo/Quickstep fan so I'm gonna root for Styby and Nikki.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

I really wanted to see Gallopinn or Kwiatowski win Paris Nice. Gallopin really deserved it after his big attack yesterday but Porte crushes the time trial to take the win.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Yup and EQS did everything possible to rip that race to shreds. Either would have been a super deserving winner.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Sunday's Tirrano Adriato stage was awesome with Quintana winning the stage in the snowstorm.

Re: 2015 USCHO Cycling Thread

Fun race today. Hoping for Sagan or Cance, but I really like the winner as well.
