* it, I'm going to make a statement. It annoys the pi55 out of me that so many people vote for Flag when he so obviously campaigns for the dishonor on an annual basis. It's against the spirit of the thing. :mad:

I agree with you. However, he's in the same bracket as me so strategic voting... :D

I won't limit that sentiment to just Flaggy. Anyone who campaigns (or is in cahoots with someone to campaign for them) is a terrible choice.

For this year only, I will somewhat disagree with you to the extent that I have made a few statements that could be construed as 'campaigning' for Old Pio.

Given how the selection system works, I will never be an actual candidate myself.


I do think that anyone who votes for him/herself [strikeout text], I will agree with you on that point.


EDIT: It does make sense to me to implement a tiebreaker rule that says that if there is a tie, the person who voted for him/herself loses the tiebreaker.

Oh gee, maybe because the person who last ran this didn't want to do it anymore, and I was the only one willing to step up to do it at the time?

This is correct. Started by CommAvHusky, passed on to me, then Dude Love, then Flaggy.

There is a tie breaker procedure in place, btw.
