Re: 2015 Open Wheel Racing - The Devil comes to Ferrari & the return Wayward Driver!!
I wanted to enjoy the Indy car race, but didn't really. It seemed to be the same thing, but with more wings and more stuff broken. I really don't like the aero packages at all- they look goofy.
The F1 race- heck of a race for the entire Ferrari team- great stops, great package, great strategy, great driving. The actual race was ok. Not sure why Mercedes used the softer tires in qualifying, so that they didn't have any left for Hamilton at the end of the race- but that may not have mattered anyway.
Hard to see McLaren suffer like that, BUT- they did improve a lot relative to the field. And as slow as they are- all of the reports have both Button and Alonso happy- especially how nice the car drives. So I look forward to them speeding up over the year.
It was GREAT to see Toro Rosso beat the Red Bull team. Same engines, but one whining team vs. the underdogs. Perhaps Horner would accept some good Italian cheese to go with his whine.
