Re: 2015 NCHA Playoffs... the road to Adrian

After a long delay in the feed, Lake Forest leads 1-0 with about 3 to go in the 1st.

Re: 2015 NCHA Playoffs... the road to Adrian

St. Scholastica ties it with 4:59 left in the 2nd. Simpson with the goal.

And Lake Forest's PBP crew has an excellent beef there. The eventual goal scorer appeared to be offside.

1-1, under 5 to go in the 2nd.

Lake Forest must win this game to for the DMG.

Re: 2015 NCHA Playoffs... the road to Adrian

St. Scholastica scores again. Malenstyn with the goal, on a shot that bounced twice on the way to the net.

Re: 2015 NCHA Playoffs... the road to Adrian

I was just checking out St. Scholastica's bus miles/hours. This weekend they are driving 14 hours round trip and 900 miles. Next weekend they will have to travel 22 hours and 1400 miles. If they win (a huge if), they will have to travel to St. Norbert (10 hours, 670 miles) or MSOE (12.5 hours, 800 miles). At minimum, they will be doing 36 hours/2300 miles. At max they would do 48.5 hours and 3100 miles. They will be some road-weary young men.

Re: 2015 NCHA Playoffs... the road to Adrian

Something tells me SNC at Adrian will not be the Championship. I think both higher seed have a tough match up and at least one if not both lose this weekend.
