Yes I know she went there for a while. Didn't get much play time. Was seen mostly based on Team WI. Saw them this weekend at 2 nations on TW. Known her Dad and Sully from many years of my D playing with her on a WI Jr Badgers summer team. Tipped many a brew with her dad.

It's the same way Jaycn Reeves was picked up by Union. Same TW, and Jaycn also played on the WI Jr Badger team each summer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't Team WI a "before and after" team, much like the MN Elite teams, the Icecats and the Jr. Whitecaps? I assume that, since she no linger attends SSM, Miss Sullivan will play for a Wisconsin high school during the upcoming regular season?

When we played each other ie major vs minor it was always very close game, though the minor usually lost by one, or two. I believe Baylee's Dad was the coach of the major team.

I know those girls fairly well, D played with them for 5-6 years during the summers.

This weekend when I caught up with Jaycn's Dad who was the coach for one of the Jr Badger teams I asked him how come we didn't get more hardware during the summer (don't get me wrong the team did but a few escaped us) with several girls going D1, (I can name several more) he said must have been the coaching.

Really the issue was we rarely practiced because the team was spread out widely. Girls from WI, Thunder Bay, MN and MI

Ok.. got it! I just remember watching one game of a tournament --I believe it was the International Cup -- when the Jr. Badgers played the Jr. Gophers! I remember this quick, fast little player for the Jr. Badgers that seemed to be in on every play and goal.. It was Baylee! Kind of prophetic that she is now playing at UW!!

Good for Leah. When she was 10 she started playing boys town hockey in my hometown. At tryouts she consistently ripped wrist shots top shelf, from the blue line, past whatever goalie was in net.

It was hilarious to hear the incredulous "that was a girl shooting like that?" from the gathered masses in the lobby afterward.

That would be a reasonable assumption....for just about anyone but perhaps the Brown Administration. These things always seem to be much more obvious for everyone outside long before any action is actually taken. It always astounds me how many years athletic departments can keep their heads in the sand. Brown is probably also more suspect than most because of its relative apathy about athletics to begin with.
