2014 Stanley Cup Finals - I'm so Anze about how Quick Hank is, I'm Nashing my teeth!!

Re: 2014 Stanley Cup Finals - I'm so Anze about how Quick Hank is, I'm Nashing my tee

Rangers sign Dan Boyle to 2yr/$9M deal. I suppose Sather could have screwed up worse. Supposedly Boyle left a "significant" amount of money on table to come to Rangers.

Re: 2014 Stanley Cup Finals - I'm so Anze about how Quick Hank is, I'm Nashing my tee

That's a pretty hefty discount for Boyle to take. He'd have easily gotten $5.5 from at least two other teams.

Stoner gets 4 years, 3.25 per from Anaheim.
Someone must have a medical marijuana card in that front office.

Defensemen flying off the table now. Gilbert to the Habs, 2yr/$2.8 mil per. Ehrhoff to Pittsburgh, 1 yr/$4 mil (so much for seeking a 5 year deal).

Bolland to Florida, 5 yrs/$5.5 mil per.

Avs trade with SJ for Brad Stuart, 2nd and 6th round picks going back to SJ.

Gorges going to Buffalo after declining Toronto trade last night, Habs get a 2016 2nd round pick back.

absolutely absurd contracts for dave bolland and benoit pouliot

and gorges says no to toronto but yes to buffalo? someone's gonna have to explain that one to me

out of these big contracts at least stastny/st. louis makes sense to me. they needed a player like him.

Re: 2014 Stanley Cup Finals - I'm so Anze about how Quick Hank is, I'm Nashing my tee

I wonder what's up with this.

Rumor mill said the Wings were set to offer him 3 years last night, but he was insisting on 5 years, so they walked away. Hence, my comment.

It's now abundantly clear he just wanted a deal with a team that is closer to winning the Cup.

Dallas closing in on a deal with Hemsky (Done - 3 yrs/$4 mil per)

Caps sign Orpik, terms not yet known.

Miller leaning towards Vancouver (sounds like 3 yrs/$6 mil per)

wonder if the sabres would look at someone like gionta for some veteran leadership as they rebuild. he's from rochester and towards the end of his career, but still somewhat productive and good leader

Gorges said after playing for MTL, can't turn around and be fully commited to a rival like Toronto.

Letsgowings.com never ceases to amuse. :D On the subject of Holland vs. Nill:

It's like Luke and Yoda...accept less cool because in this scenario Holland is Yoda and he's slowly dying.

Gionta is a Sabre, terms TBD. (EDIT: 3 yrs/$4.25 mil per)

Good God...5 years, $27.5M total for Orpik. Caps got bent over there, possibly the worst deal of the day.
