Can the Rangers count that one twice? :D They looked gassed in the third, but got the W. Playing with house money now after winning game one in the new Igloo.

Hawks sleepwalk through most of the period but come out with the lead. Started to turn it on in last 3 minutes or so.

I'll take it.

Hawks lead but sloppy... I'm sure Q will have a nice little chat during the intermission... Wild have some opportunities to build off of... It'll be interesting to see who comes out of the intermission kicking *** and taking names... Hopefully it's the boys in Red :o


Also, like the move by Yeo at the end of the period to pull the goalie... Always a move I'm surprised you don't see more often... With less than 2.5 seconds or so, I will ALWAYS pull my goalie when I have an offensive zone faceoff... Probably can even stretch that out to 3 or 3.5 seconds with no harm, but a lot to gain...

They'll need to be better.

The final few minutes with the fast passing and possession is more typical of when they're clicking.


The breakaways, bad changes and lethargy is not.

I did that in a youth game a number of years ago and some of my own parents were yelling at me from across the ice.

We almost scored... just went wide. ;):D

Not to parrot many Wild fans' concern, but Bryz looks slightly shaky to me.

You are spot on. If Bryz is the only option then the Wild are in trouble unless he finds a groove...........or if the Wild can score 6 a game or if the Wild can limit sog goal to less than 1 per game.
