Yeah, you could set up a picnic lunch and enjoy a nice bottle of chianti in front of the Hawks net.

Odd. I thought play was supposed to get tighter the farther you got into the playoffs. This is two consecutive defense and goaltending optional games.

Part of me will be happy once the mercy killing finally happens. This has been a turd of a season and a really frustrating playoff run.

Don't worry about me though. The two Cups in the past few years will help me get through.

Still playing with house money...

I think you might mean Ontario Provincial Police Constable Lyndon Slewidge, who sings the anthems for the Senators

i said LA was only team in west that could beat chicago, just didn't think it would actually happen and not in 5 games...after being up 1-0 and 2-0 in game two

I don't want to lose at all, but I'm tired of this season. It's been like this most of the year.

I don't blame the players. I believe they are tired too.

A short Summer and half the team playing through the Olympics are really showing now... You can't deny that... It sucks :mad:

And all these blown leads really suck. I know, I know. 2 Cups in 4 years. Just not happy with how it's going down. They are better than this.

I think all the tired talk is a load of crap. The Kings just want it more, are getting better goaltending, and are playing with confidence.

Didn't play the videos, and the crappy sound on my computer wouldn't do it justice anyway. I know it was in Toronto, because it was in the playoffs last year. Thought it was a mountie, but I could have gotten that wrong.

Tired mentally/emotionally. That's what allows a team to "want it" more than another.

The thing that bugs me the most about this particular Hawks team is that I know I'm a jerk for hating them so much. If they had (almost) any other uniform on, I'd really enjoy that team.

I was surrounded by Hawks fans in Freeport, IL for most of last week, and I had to begrudgingly admit that this years Blackhawks are extremely likeable and that Jonathan Toews is probably the perfect player to build a team around. Actually, that part pains me the most: I've been forced to hate Jonathan Toews in every uniform he's worn since he could vote, and if it weren't for the uniforms he's worn he might possibly be my favorite player out there.
