2014-2015 Quinnipiac Bobcats: "I hear Boston is nice in April"

Re: 2014-2015 Quinnipiac Bobcats: "I hear Boston is nice in April"

Terrible 1st... ok 2nd... good 3rd... great OT. Nice come from behind win but if they had played in the 1st like they did in the 3rd it would have been a lot more lopsided. They didn't really wake up until Dartmouth scored and then it was almost lights out. Really dominated the last half of the game.

Tomorrow should be a barn burner...

This is one I would fly 3000 miles to see.
Anytime you wanna come east I'll pick you up at the airport! ;)

This will be our toughest test to date. Harvard is on fire and has a lot of weapons. They've got great offense, strong defense, and have been fantastic in net. We will need to match them every shift. No mistakes, no letdowns.

Go Q!

Whats the deal with Tom Hilbrich? he has not played a game since hes been here.
Half way through junior season. Kid has upside, big kid. Probably tough to play against.
Just wondering why RP doesnt give him a look in a game situation.

Should be a great one or at least I hope it is. Quinny is always very tough to play in their building. Here's to an up and down game with few whistles.

I really don't think the score reflects the overall play.
But wow....Peca -4.....very surprised at that.

I may take you up on the airport pickup, Mark but I do have quite a few "relatives" there. :)

So much for that... not an excuse, but c'mon. Why can't ECAC refs ever be consistent?

Definitely long stretches where we clearly outplayed them, but too many missed opportunities and a couple of glaring mistakes.

Oooh... another clue. ;)

In the limited sample size we've seen (3 exhibition games) he's looked like a wide load tractor trailer going up a steed grade hill. Doesn't appear that his size equates to much skill. Likely mirrored in practice, hence him never given one single shot in a game that mattered. Gotta believe he enjoys the school and values his education to have stayed and not tried out the D3/lower D1/or low junior ranks similarly to Luczyk, Miles Winter, Rouleau etc...

Re: 2014-2015 Quinnipiac Bobcats: "I hear Boston is nice in April"

Recruit Ryan Finnegan hasn't played in almost 2 months due to a broken right wrist.

QUAlum2004,

Nice report on recruits. I think you left one recruit off the list - Nelson Gadoury, Camrose (AJHL).

I removed him. Heisenberg doesn't have him as a recruit anymore while the AJHL does. I trust Heisenberg more than the AJHL.

Re: 2014-2015 Quinnipiac Bobcats: "I hear Boston is nice in April"

Not surprising. Not sure why he didn't do this after last season.
Same here... my concern is for the loss of the roster spot for the rest of the season. If we stay healthy it shouldn't be a problem...

I'm not concerned at all. Neither of the Renoufs have played and I think either could step in and give more than Lemire did.
