Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

Arkansas is just giving this game away. NC State won't go away, great game out West right now, I love this sport.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hoke isn't head coach Monday. I don't think it'll happen, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Keeping a clearly injured player in the game, putting back a clearly injured/most likely concussed player in the game instead of burning a timeout when Gardener had to come out due to the helmet rule. Though it was fun watching the third string QB scramble for his helmet like that scene in Varsity Blues. Then just quitting on 4th down with 4 minutes left.

They're at Rutgers at night next week, that's no easy task.

It looks like FSU will escape, and A&M just tied it up against Arkansas.
Rutgers should beat Michgan.

Poor Bielema...

I actually want him as Iowa's next was coach when KF moves on, FWIW.

Same here. I would not be surprised to see Brandon try to save his own job by blowing up the ship right now, recruiting be d@mned.

Well, that explains why you defended him so vigorously last season.

Guy's a complete tool.

Can't imagine why anyone would want him.

I think I just heard one of the ESPN announcers say that this was one of Minnesota's best wins in the program's history. They really need to do some research into either Minnesota's history or how bad Michigan is this season.

To be fair to ESPN, there is no reason they should be familiar with those programs since Jetes never played at either.

He did commit to Michigan at one point!

Yeah. It's over. I don't think Hoke finishes the year, and it's a coin flip on whether Brandon does as well.

I think Brandon goes first. The sooner they can fire him, the better. Hoke will end the season, because there's nothing to gain from firing him now, and they'll save a little money by keeping him until January 1st.

Heard an interview of Tracy Claeys on the radio this morning, to paraphrase what he said "this isn't a fluke, the University of Minnesota just has better football players than the University of Michigan right now". Never thought I'd see the day...
