Speaking of Clemson...the Tigers are a 17 point underdog next Saturday at Florida State in what is essentially the ACC Championship Game. Hopefully Clemson plays well and can keep it close. :)
Best of luck to Clemson; I hope you guys find a way to win that one...

If you aren't going to watch the USC-BC game this weekend, please at least watch this story. Boston College is wearing red bandana alternates in memory of a former lacrosse player who was a true hero on 9/11.

So in news that 90% here either don't care about, or would revel in- local news is speculating that there may be less than 100,000 at the Big House today for the Miami-Michigan game.

Now I know why we were invited.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

1) Fargo is probably the best location for Gameday.
2) The new Gameday opening sucks.
3) As much as I hate it, this could be Hoke's last year. Brandon said he wasn't on the hot seat, but the 100k streak is a proud Michigan tradition. Brandon won't like lost revenue, and he also will be willing to sacrifice Hoke is his job is on the line.
4) Please Big Ten, win today.

Huh. I guess it's just the hockey connection, but I view Miami as relatively interesting, as MAC opponents go. But I suppose the overwhelming factor is the disappointment of last weekend. And the hockey community just isn't big enough to overcome something like that -- even at Michigan.

As I'm often (and recently) reminded, I'm not your typical Football poster. But I do care and wouldn't revel. My choice would be for all BT teams to play in front of full stadiums all season long.

Anyhow, have a great time at the game.

4) Please Big Ten, win today.
Amen.

Fargo is not the best game day location. It's kitschy, so I like it. But definitely not the greatest.

Seeing less than 100k at the big house? Wow.
