2014-15 schedules

Re: 2014-15 schedules

I would put (a small amount of) money on Air Force @ Sacred Heart on 2/6 and 2/7 to round out the AHA schedule.

I cannot call the bet on the grounds that I would make the same bet. Do we know for sure that it's in CT? Or is that just based on SHU having 14 away league games?

Re: 2014-15 schedules

AF has 12 away, 14 home, SH has 14 home, 12 away. I figured it should be 14 all around...so an educated guess.

Fair enough. I'm going to pencil it in and "complete" their schedules, despite the fact that that particular date may change (99.9999% it won't, given there isn't another weekend in common).

isn't it about time to take BG off the 'incomplete' list? the schedule is complete at 36 games. done and dusted.

Considering the only schools that are games short on their schedules are WCHA schools, I think you can consider them all complete. They are not going to add non-conference games against each other.

Several HEA schools have non conference games against each other. Teams can do it of they need to fill slots.

The ECAC non-ivies did it all the time when everyone else had 6-8 NC games.

Also, I didn't know that Wisconsin, Army, and (likely) UMASS Amherst were in the WCHA.

well yeah, that's kind of the point. when you've got 36 games already booked, no need to fill slots. WCHA teams are leaving exemptions on the table.

the giant 2014-2015 schedule banner went up on the outside of the BGSU Ice Arena over the weekend.
if other teams still have slots to fill, they'll be looking someplace other than BGSU.
