See, that's just it. I know that there are a boatload of GB fans in the area. Either the NFL does it this way to push people towards their season pass product, or the league isn't really aware of how many GB fans are around here - which I think is the least likely scenario.
I think they do it to allow a 3pm central game to be a "game of the week" and shown in the majority of the country up against very little else...
The Indianapolis vs San Francisco game will be on everywhere but where people care about Buffalo, NY Jets, Jacksonville, Seattle and the only places it will have competition for eyes is Atlanta, San Diego, MSP, Cleveland, Miami, Baltimore, and Nashville. I really miss the days of living in Neenah, WI when I always got the Packers plus got Milwaukee/Green Bay broadcast channels so when Green Bay was blacked out of a certain game, Milwaukee wasn't...there was always 4 games, sometimes 5 or 6 for the noon + 3pm kickoffs.

We had the same thing in Marquette with the Fox station being out of Green Bay and a one out of Marquette... One was obviously all Packers, and the other would get the Lions...

Re: 2013 NFL Season. Tebow on the Brady Bunch(en)? Goodell will to all men!

My keeper league is putting me in all sorts of troubles:

3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 W/R/T flex

I have:

WR: Victor Cruz, James Jones, Julian Edelman, Dwayne Bowe, Larry Fitzgerald
RB: Reggie Bush, Knowshon Moreno, Darren Sproles, Chris Ivory, Joique Bell
TE: Jermichael Finley, Rob Gronkowski

Obviously, I play Finley until Gronk is back. No problem there. I made the right call in sitting Bowe this week, and I'm debating if I should do the same for Fitzgerald (who is basically a decoy instead of a receiver at this point). I would have no problem with this, if I weren't certain that both Jones and Edelman are just as equally likely to get two catches for 5 yards as they are to get 120+ yards and 2 TDs.

My real problem is running backs. I figure I'll get more points in the flex position with a third running back than I will from Fitzgerald The Gimp. But who do I sit? I have both Bush and Bell, but we don't know if (a) Bush will get injured and Bell will have a huge day, (b) Bush is perfectly healthy and Bell isn't needed, or (c) Washington sucks so bad that both players will give me tons of points. Theoretically I should play one and sit the other, but I have no idea whom. And if Washington really does suck that much, who am I sitting between Moreno (who is somehow the starting RB in Denver and playing freakin' Oakland) and Sproles (who barely runs, but somehow manages a decent amount of points each week)? It's like Sophie's Choice over here.

I don't think Bush is 100%, but at the same time I don't think Bell is going to give you a whole bunch, either.

Re: 2013 NFL Season. Tebow on the Brady Bunch(en)? Goodell will to all men!

I'm doing FanDuel. These are the 2 teams I've compiled this week, $60,000 salary cap:

Team 1:
QB - Matthew Stafford $8500
RB - Marshawn Lynch $8300
RB - Matt Forte $8400
WR - Calvin Johnson $9000
WR - Golden Tate $5100
WR - Greg Jennings $5600
TE - Tyler Eifert $4900
K - Steven Hauschka $5000
D - Minnesota Vikings $5200
$0 Remaining

Team 2:
QB - Peyton Manning $9800
RB - Marshawn Lynch $8300
RB - Frank Gore $6700
WR - Demaryius Thomas $8400
WR - Eddie Royal $4500
WR - James Jones $6000
TE - Martellus Bennett $6000
K - Steven Hauschka $5000
D - Minnesota Vikings $5200
$100 Remaining

I think Team 2 is much better than Team 1, might need to make some changes. I can edit up until noon on Sunday.

Blur Offense? Run'N'Gun? West Coast? Basic Defense, folks. It rules the game.

Hopefully you have Bell in, because Bush is now officially out for today.

Bucs need to cut Lindell. Yesterday. Another missed fg on their opening drive. Made a 30 yarder afterwards, but can't give away points against the Pats.

Ponder's playing for his next role as a backup QB for another team. The O-line isn't helping him much, but a lot is still on him - most even.

Kluwe on a Tweeter Machine rant about the Aldon Smith/49ers situation; most of it directed at sports analysts.

If you Vikings fans don't want Ponder, my team will take him.

Tannehill looks good. Dolphins look good. Freaky.

The Jets are Minnesota-ing.
