Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

Well yeah that's what we wanted going into the season, but woulda coulda shoulda. While we did the Rose Bowl thing last year, it's still a pretty nice consolation if we're willing to get back on track and try to win out. Hell, you never know if a one-loss team may sneak in, though I guess that's only the case if you're from the SEC. But this team was 1-11 seven years ago, so I'm not too spoiled that I'll poo-poo a Rose Bowl berth.

Yah, I remember back then having a conversation with some Big Ten fan who was saying Stanford was one of the worst programs in the NCAA. Admittedly they're in much better shape now, but Stanford has had its moments in the past. I have to say though that they currently have the program in really good shape. Lots of people thought they'd go downhill when Luck left, but they really haven't missed a beat. It's fun to see them competing with Phil Knight's university up north.

Anyone else surprised that FSU is a 3 point favorite AT Death Valley? And an over/under at 64?

I think I'll take Clemson straight up, and the over in this one! Very surprised at the line right now. :p:D:D

Little bit of a mess at Grambling State. I believe I heard a report on sportscenter that said players didn't get on the team buses to Jackson St. for this weekends game.

The game has been cancelled... Seems like a sad situation overall...

I've never heard of such a thing...man that is bad. I saw they get fined for not showing. I wonder how much that fine is

Strategic use of timeouts by the Ol Ball Coach. Didn't quite work out.

A William Sherman special!!! Georgia loses! To Vanderbilt. No, really.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

Wonder when the last time was that Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina all lost on the same day? Could be an interesting race to see who Alabama will beat in Atlanta...

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

There is virtually no defense in this Michigan and Indiana game. 42-40, 3 minutes left in the 3rd. Teams scoring at will it seems lately.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

Well, that was a fun sequence in the Kansas/Oklahoma game. Kansas blocks a punt at the OU 6 yard line. Next play, they run it in for a TD. OU then blocks the PAT and runs it back for 2.

Oklahoma 27
Kansas 19

10:15 left in the game.

SEC logic: Stanford beating UCLA shows how weak the PAC-12 is. Vanderbilt beating Georgia shows how deep the SEC is.

Johnny Manziel leaves the Auburn game and can't throw after this hit

Looks like his shoulder was driven into the ground. Nothing wrong with the hit. Just unfortunate for Manziel.
