Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

How about those Clemson Tigers!!!

Not sure how many people actually watched the LSU-Clemson game tonight due to being on New Years' Eve, but if you did, it was a pretty good game to watch. Hopefully Clemson can find themselves in the Top 10 at the end of the year. First 11 win season at Clemson since the '81 National Championship squad.

And who would have thought that two ACC teams would have knocked off USC and LSU in the same day? :p:D:D

LSU got what it deserved last night, with their playcalling inside 2 minutes. 3 passes where they could have forced Clemson to burn all 3 TO's.

It was definitely odd play-calling. That being said, Clemson dominated that game. Plus, I don't think Clemson would have needed any timeouts (even if they ran, Clemson would have at least had 1 TO left). They were moving the ball at will the last 10 minutes of the game. LSU didn't know how to handle an offense like that.

And of course, that was all (well, all but 2 plays) without Sammy Watkins. Clemson should be scary good next season.

Big Ten having a pretty decent day so far (if you ignore Purdue :) ).

And Steve Spurrier just about choked an official on a baffling first down call.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

That is NOT a first down. You can still see green between the ball and the end of the chains!

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

What the hell? That was not a first down. What is that ref looking at? It was obviously half a link short. Glad I'm not a South Carolina fan because that is ridiculous.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

I can't believe I just witnessed that with my own two eyes.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

HOLY SH*T.

That shot will be replayed forever if SC loses. That's not a first down and it wasn't even close.

Now SC kills a Michigan player. I think he may actually be dead.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

Okay, I think everything just got taken care of all by itself.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

Now watch. They'll rule the helmet came off before the ball did. Play dead, Michigan still has the ball.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

That was the single most brutal clean hit I have seen in years. WOW.

Easily. That should be replayed over and over on how to hit a guy cleanly and still deal a punishing blow.

And review upholds the call. Good.

Re: 2013 DI BCS Thread: Thorthu Thame ish bacth!

Well, as soon as I say something, the Big Ten craps the bed. Now Nebraska is down by 14 and Michigan coughs up the ball after being handed an absolute gift of a first down and then proceeds to lose the lead.
