2013-2014 USCHO T.O.P. ?? Thoughts? Interests? Comments?

Even if we drop it down to 32 teams is fine with me. When I get some time I will try and sit down and put down more names. The one thing we do need is the Selection Committee and hopefully NUProf or someone can come up with a formula based on some kind of stat line. Maybe we can do a Thursday night selection show on a certain radio station to fill some off season ice hockey drama. Or maybe a certain SUNY school could come up with a video selection show...

We have some time, but just trying to get things in place...

I'm not necessarily a mathematician, but if you give me a set of criteria, I can certainly help to seed and pair members of our community! I volunteer to repeat as a member of the selection committee, but won't be insulted if you'd rather not have me :)

Yepp! I lost by a single vote. But I was a more active participant that year (ran the weekly Player of the Week polls that season, for example), so I don't anticipate getting anywhere close to that repeating that performance. ;)

Wouldn't ya know it... A mere two weeks ago I cleaned-up a bunch of old files from my system, and at that time eliminated the files from the 09-10 TOP Committee & selection/seeding process. This was very difficult for me, as I am an electronics hoarder, often clinging to data as if my existence depends upon it.

Fortunately, I am not so diligent with my e-mail accounts, and I found the files in one of my Yahoo! inboxes. Remy - If you need/want, I can send the dusty-archive your way to provide some groundwork in effort to avoid "reinventing the wheel". There isn't a heck of a lot contained within these files, but it may trigger some long-forgotten memories.

And yes... I will volunteer as well to serve on the selection committee again (bonus if the smoke-filled room is somewhere in Colorado this year!).

Charleston, SC would like to place a bid. While some of you up North are getting hit with snow and cold, we'll be sitting on the beach within weeks. A welcome get away for those up North!

If you need another committee member, I'm willing. Good way to kill some time.

I nominate Utica for one Regional (The Moose Region?), and perhaps the WIAC, and their "play in our own sandbox" can be honored with one of the other Regions?

TD Arena? That's where they play that bouncy ball. The North Charleston Coliseum is home of the Charleston Stingrays (ECHL)
