Union has sold out of the college's allotment of tickets. Tickets may also be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com. If you wish to sit by other Union fans, request tickets in sections 115, 116 or 215.

All the lower seats at Wells Fargo, including all of section Lower 122 are gone. Might ultimately be a complete sellout. 19,000?

When I purchased the tickets through Union yesterday, they didn't know which sections they had. You're saying the Union allotment was 115, 116, and 215?

Edit: Never mind, I see you just copied and pasted from here: http://www.unionathletics.com/news/2014/3/29/MICE_0329141811.aspx?path=mhockey

My best wishes to Union next week. I like your chances, have a lot of respect for your program, and hope that Union wins it all.

April Fool's ? He didn't even win league COTY. In any event, well deserved.

"I don’t know about you, though, but the biggest surprise to me has to be Union’s dominance in Bridgeport. They pretty much owned two Hockey East teams and right now have to be a favorite to hoist the trophy, even though they have to get through BC to get there. Anyone who was watching those games watched a team that has a major drive for some unfinished business."

I think Hockey East may be a bit down this year. There is a great deal of parity, but the top 2 or 3 teams may not as strong as some past years. BC has the best scoring line in the country, but they don’t seem to have the depth on offense that some of their other teams have had and the goalie is not as good as the other three in the Frozen 4. Providence and UVM are solid teams with good goaltending, but not much offense. Lowell probably had the best goalie in HE and I would have enjoyed seeing him and Stevens in the Frozen 4, but that BC line was just too much for Lowell to overcome.

I think Union beats BC because of superior goaltending and better balance. They don’t have the scoring prowess of BC, but they have a great system and everyone shows up and plays it well every night. Bodie, Carr and The Ghost are very good and, of course, Stevens has turned in a terrific season.

Union can beat any of these teams and probably will beat BC. I think ND is the sleeper in the field. They have been playing very well lately and could just ride the wave to another title, but I am expecting Minnesota and Union to be in the final. Best in the East against the best in the West, as it should be. Either team could win that one.

You know, I like Coach Sneddon (former ECAC coach), Coach Patrick (former ECAC Asst. Coach), and Coach Wallack, (former ECAC Asst. Coach), and want them to do well. But really, you would think UVM was a power house based on your arrogance. Don't you have a class to teach?

Where is Coach Patrick these days?

Not yet 100 % set but plans are being made for a joint Garnet Blades / Alumni Relations pregame on Thursday. Still in the formative stages but it looks like it will start after the 2:30 team red carpet walk in and probably run until about 4:30. Everything is tentative at this point but I just thought I'd mention it in case it affects travel plans. Details will likely follow soon.

Thanks. I'll be leaving Midtown Manhattan by car at around 12:30/1:00 so everything will depend on traffic. Last time I was there, there weren't any bars/restaurants around the arena other than McFadden's right outside Citizen's Bank Park. It seems like there is now something called Xfinity Live though and there are plenty of options there.
