The WCHA Saves from the 3 games last night totaled 173 saves. That means that anyone that guessed between 164-182 will earn bonus points. Nobody correctly guessed that number. The closest guesses were 171 (myself and 1988) and 175 (gochiefs).

Nobody got all 5 games last night correct, but 1988 and FiveHole12 went 4-1.

1988 currently leads for the week with 16 points. 1988 is dominating the league at this point in time, up on Shirtless Bob by 26 points. We'll see if anyone can close that gap tonight.

This was 1988's second straight weekly win. The average point total was just over 14 points. As a group we managed to correctly pick 49.42% of the games this week...the second worst outing of the season (only ahead of the dismal week 4's 39.14%). That being said, the average was the second best. People really took advantage of the bonus this week. 16 of the 26 predictors this week took home at least 1 bonus point.

In just two weeks, 1988 went from being in 3rd position (3 points out of 1st) to holding a commanding lead of 21 points. That should show everyone that climbing the ladder can happen quickly. As a group overall, we're correctly predicting games at a clip of 53.81%. Last year we were around 55-60% most of the year, so we're not that far off the pace. I'll try and have the Week 8 games up shortly.
