Re: 2013-2014: NCAA Weekly Pick'em
Week 21 Games! This is the last week of the regular season for Atlantic Hockey, ECAC, and Hockey East, so next week will be a little bit different for the pick'em (which will run through the Frozen Four for those of you that didn't play last season).
Friday:
Air Force @ Niagara -
Union @ Yale -
Massachusetts Lowell @ Vermont -
North Dakota @ St. Cloud State -
Ferris State @ Alaska -
Saturday:
Quinnipiac @ Clarkson -
Providence @ Maine -
Denver @ Western Michigan -
Minnesota State @ Lake Superior State -
Sunday:
Michigan @ Ohio State -
BONUS QUESTION #1: (10 points if correct, for each number off take 1 point away until 0 (can't go into the negative)):
Total Number of Powerplay Goals (5x4, 5x3, 4x3) scored in college hockey this weekend (Friday-Sunday) (107 teams, 54 games*) -
BONUS QUESTION #2: (5 points if correct, for each number off take 1 point away until 0 (can't go into the negative)):
Total Number of Goals scored by Atlantic Hockey on Saturday (12 teams, 6 games) -
WEEKLY RULES:
1) All picks must be in by the drop of the puck of the FIRST game in the bunch. This week, that is FRIDAY at 7:00pm Eastern!
2) No late picks will be allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS. This means that if you post your picks on that Friday at 7:01pm Eastern, you will not receive credit for your picks.
3) Do NOT pick a tie. If you do, you will lose 4 points.
4) All correct picks will earn 4 points (unless stated otherwise). If a game ends in a tie (regardless of shootout), you will receive 2 points, unless you picked a tie, in which case you will LOSE 4 points. DO NOT PICK A TIE.
5) If you see a mistake within these rules based on the games selected, please note it as soon as possible. If not pointed out by Thursday, February 27th at 8:00pm (Eastern), the mistake will stay, and I will interpret the mistake as soon as possible.
6) Anyone can play. You do not have to continue to predict after this week. You didn't have to predict last week.
7) If you update your picks before the deadline, please post in this thread to let me know of the changes.
*Includes Michigan State's PPGs in their exhibition on Saturday.
