Re: 2013-2014 MIACWIACNCHA Pick'Em Week 1 The Start of a New Era (Oct. 26th-Nov.7th)
It is tough to decide what dates, usually the midweek dates to include in a Pick'Em week, with most changes occurring around holiday breaks, to assist participants who might otherwise be preoccupied at those times.
To be fair and eliminate any potential appearance of impropriety, edits to a selection (post) after game time ordinarily requires that the entry be disallowed. If you want to make last minute changes (such as a player injury/unavailability), prior to game time, make an new selection containing only games that have not yet occurred, noting in this first line "These selections replace my previous ones" - obviously, do NOT delete or edit the initial entry.
That said, in the spirit of the NCAA exemption allowing two schools to start their season before everyone else (which adds significant credence to having forgot about already it already being played), if Drew has the original pick for that game, an exemption to allow the original pick should be okay.
As this has not happened in my time running this Pick Em' I will defer to Norm1909 for a ruling on what he has done. I do keep an excel spreadsheet of all picks so I do know what everyone's picks are as they post. If anyone decides to change their picks please notify me with a post to tell me you changed your picks prior to the first game of the week.
Thanks,
