2013-14 Schedules Thread

I would guess that frozen Fenway is OOC. Jack Parker said BU was playing Maine at Fenway... Our league games with them are nov 16/17.... Doubt frozen Fenway is in Nov

They can move the game. Maine vs UNH was supposed to be in March. This would take the place of the Sunday, November 17 game at BU.

Supposedly there will be a 2-day festival for Hockey East at Fenway involving conference games for 10 of HEA's 11 teams. More than likely the 11th team will play OOC vs UConn.

None of this is official yet, but should be announced soon - although the Red Sox may prefer to wait.

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

Any hint at dates for this?

My understanding is BU is playing MSU and Michigan on the same weekend and "swapping" opponents with Lowell that same weekend.

Not sure. The only info is from MSU hockey twitter that came from an Anastos press conference. If what redwings said is true then it sounds like two, two game series at Munn. Though from the tweet it makes it sound like we aren't going back to Lowell, which means we would have hosted them four times without a return trip.

The conference schedule may suck with the rumors of Sunday/Monday games, but I am a fan of this expanded non-con bringing in some different names.

Lowell is raffling a trip to MSU/Michigan next year (airfare and hotel for two). So, I would assume Lowell is playing one at each in the same weekend. I'd also heard we were traveling with BU.

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

Is this 100% complete? This would seem to mean that rumored CC game at BU won't be happening.
Seems complete to me...36 games for CC including 2 exhibition games (New Brunswick/USA U18), 24 league games and 10 NC games (Clarkson x2, UNH x2, Wisc x2, Providence x2, Brown, Air Force).

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

I would guess that we can expect Canisius @ Air Force 10/25 and Niagara @ Air Force 10/26, since they are at Denver the opposite night and CC is at Clarkson. Both of those teams have 1 game each @ Air Force, and I can't see them wanting to get two games out of the weekend (although it has happened before).

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

Thanks. I hope to get this up on the master schedules sheet, unless burgie12 has already beat me to it.

Still no fourth team for the Mariucci...

Have fun! Interesting how early the schedules are coming out this year.

I would suspect you are right, otherwise only one of them would have come to DU and played a 2-game series.
