And with their 6th straight loss the Maple Leafs have fallen out of a playoff spot. A couple of weeks ago they were challenging the B's for top spot in the Atlantic.

I'm not buying they (Wild) can't play defense. They're one of the top defensive teams (7th) in the league (although they've dropped a couple of spots in the last couple of weeks). Their problem has always been scoring where they rank very near the bottom (27th)

Ryan O'Reilly had gone the entire season without taking a penalty until yesterday, where he took a 2 minute minor for...playing with a broken stick.

Jonathan Toews will sit the rest of the regular season...

I'm content with this... We're locked into the 2/3 seed and facing Colorado basically... I'd like to have home ice for that series... Being 3 points back and Colorado having a game in hand makes that an uphill climb given the circumstances however

Just get everyone healthy for the playoffs at this point... It's gonna be a hell of a battle against Colorado...

Also, if someone out East wants to stab Orpik with their skate, I'm cool with that

As I said on Facebook, if Crysbaby had been on the receiving end of that hit the guilty party would be looking at a season long suspension and Mario would be crying to the media that he doesn't recognize the game anymore and make a(n empty) threat to take his ball and go home.
