Looking at the Olympic hockey rosters I see that forwards Marcel and David Rodman made Team Slovenia. Their brother Dennis did not.

Always thought Banfield was a toolbox for how sh*tty he called games at the AHL level, but that video made me warm up to him.

Guess the Alumni game got the itch going again for Brian Rafalski. He signed a deal with the Florida Everblades.

You may not be far off. Aaron Ward tweeted that this is to gauge what he has left in the tank. Rafalski felt he was good for conditioning post alumni game (insert playing against old timers joke here), and there is NHL interest.

Rally the troops, bring back the glory days of the Russian 4.5 and Rafalski/Lidstrom. ;)

The Eastern conference is 27-9-2 against the Western conference this year. Pretty remarkable, considering the strength of the teams out west. 6 of the top 8, by points, are out west.

I'm not sure where you got those numbers...but, they're quite a bit off. The Wild alone are 11-8-2 against Eastern Conference teams...

Dallas, Nashville, Calgary, and Edmonton are the only Western Conference teams with losing records against Eastern Conference teams.

Boston, Tampa, Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia are the only Eastern Conference teams with winning records against Western Conference teams.

Unless you mean after the New Year...

I did say this year ;). Yes, those stats are for 2014 only. Preds, Stars, Jets and Flames are a combined 0-16, rest of the west is 11-11-2 according to the tweet machine.
