i have no idea if they are the favorite to win gold, but considering the growth in women's hockey in the midwest and my basic knowledge of who the good women players are from around the country in college hockey, seems like a pretty stacked roster.

I think Amanda Kessel was the only one that got any response from the crowd. Well, that could be heard over the television anyway.

Canada is right there with the US. I saw about 2 games' worth between the two teams, and man oh man those games are battles.

C'mon Herr Bettman, this is where your hatred for Canada is supposed to surpass your desire to punch the first-born children of Wings fans, and you order more penalties called on the Leafs. :p

Barring a monumental upset, the gold medal game will be between the USA and Canada. The US is better by the slightest of margins, but that game will be a tossup.

He's been up with the Leafs for a few weeks but has mostly been a healthy scratch. He is a class act, hope he does well with the Canes.
