Are there 2 Alumni games tomorrow? It's on from 1-3 and 4-6 or is one of these the AHL game?

Hrm... There are a couple sets of Winter Classic tickets floating around Craigslist-Chicago right now... Wonder if it would be worth a $30 offer at some point tomorrow, a tank of gas, and giving up on NYE tomorrow night? Seems like it would be a cool experience....

Leafs sign Phaneuf to a 7 year $49M extension.

The 28-year-old tops the Maple Leafs with a plus-13 rating this season and is second in scoring to Cody Franson (20 points) in scoring among defencemen with 15 points on four goals and 11 assists. He also ranks second in hits (102) and blocked shots (76), and third in penalty minutes.

Phaneuf, who regularly plays against the opposition's best forwards, leads all Maple Leafs in ice time, averaging 24 minutes 21 seconds in the first half of this season.

Wow. Such a memorable day at Comerica today. Probably never seeing both alumni teams have that caliber of a roster again, maybe Montreal/Rangers/Boston could rival it. Seeing the Russian five back together, Redmond to Fedorov on a goal... Just incredible.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow! Supposed to snow a bit though, calling for 4-6 inches by tomorrow night.

Never thought I would say this, but I really wish I was in Ann Arbor right now :o

Looking like it will be a snowy afternoon... So cool... Can't wait... Go Leafs!

Just watched both alumni games -- so many guys in blue that I met and shared a few pops with back in the day.

Now as much as I wish I was at the Big House, I'm looking forward to enjoying a Leafs win today.

{fingers crossed tightly} :D

is it possible he would have been a healthy scratch anyway? i'm assuming they were warming up with 7 dmen? still odd timing but if he was going to play, can't let him play and risk an injury that jeopardizes the deal.

hey, what a surprise...no score halfway thru an outdoor game. who could have seen that coming.
