Yea they did. I was about to come and post that.

Sabres still only have 1 ROW through 17 games. My initial prediction of 10 for the season is looking like it's out of reach.

I don't even think he knew, he's not looking down when he sweeps the puck out of the net. I think he was just going in to hold the line.

I gather the whistle didn't blow until the puck was swept out of the net by Myers, but from this angle I would've thought it was under Miller's glove and the whistle should've blown at that point.

That's pretty much exactly what happened. If the ref had to contest the goal, he would probably claim intent to blow.

EDIT: And that's what they're saying:

[Referee Mike] Leggo waves it off when the puck hits the post and starts to come to the net as a scramble develops. [In the NHL's video review room in Toronto] we're still looking at the puck off the post, then see the play with Leggo approaching net, putting the whistle in his mouth and he waves aggressively.

The helmet thing is funny, the woman is a *****.
I'm guessing they both ended up with arena bans at the very least.

The beer thing belongs in the minors.


Both were tossed. Don't know about further repercussions.

The funny thing is that those are very expensive seats. Can't imagine paying $250+ per seat and being as hammered as helmet man.
