Looks like I picked a good night to play hockey instead of watching it.

Winter Classic was announced as a sellout yesterday. Predicting 107k+ there. And they have sold 127k tickets to the other events prior to it. Pretty good showing by hockey town ;)

Any other people here going to be at the NHL events? I'll be coming up Dec 30-Jan 2 for it.

Well, it helps that the venue holds 115k. The most any other place has been able to seat was 70k in the first one.

I'll agree with the article and admit that I kinda wanna see someone score a Hat Trick tonight :p

Gotta give their fans credit... Earlier in the year, I was totally caught off guard by the fans yelling "True North" in unison during "Oh Canada"... That was cool also...

Was thinking the same thing, but what if there was a hat trick?

I wanna say Toews got one on hard hat night a few years back. Imagine a hard hat from the 3rd level. :eek:


I'm sure that the lawyers stepped and said "No ****ing way!"

Even though the likelihood of a Jet getting a hattie is astronomical.

Saw a comment where they should collect the helmets and give them to kids who don't have equipment.
