If the gophers had gotten the goaltending in the third that the Sioiux did in the first, they would have won.

Not so sure of that. MN was standing around, and UND had a ton of chances. It would have taken insane goaltending to hold them to a goal in that period.

That's true, but if Dell is not unconscious, the Gophers get 2 or 3 more in the first.

Equal goaltending to Dell in the 1st for MN in the 3rd probably still yields at least two goals to UND. Then we get OT, and unless MN completely changed its play from the 3rd to OT, they'd still lose.

Perspective: UM pounded UND in the regular season including a 6-0 crowd evacuator at the nazi bunker then UND won its 3rd Broadmoor on the back of a 6-3 come from behind beating of the goofs. All told, I'd say both teams choked/beat/slayed each other this year in their own respective manner.

Bloods shin guards look a little worn. Has he been on his knees a lot? What did Blood have to do to get the A back on his jersey?

Question for gopher fans. Since you're always one of the first to start an offseason thread, any words of advice for Sioux fans if UND loses this weekend, as they are expected to do?
