2012 regionals awarded

Re: 2012 regionals awarded

The "antique" is a nice touch. Might I add "rusty" to the farm implement description?

You may. Those things scare the crap out of me... My dad's midlife crisis was buying old tractors instead of the obligatory corvette. You know you're from central Wisconsin when... :D

Re: 2012 regionals awarded

Seriously, though...

Living in Green Bay, I'm obviously thrilled with the pick.

I hope fans here are up to the challenge and fill the place. Having UW would help, of course - as would host Michigan Tech.

It's a nice sized, neutral bdg for regionals with some things in town for folks to do...

Part of me wishes that the Resch's operators would have bis for the D3 Final Four, but with no guarantee of St. Norbert and the possibility of just one far-flung western school, I can understand why PMI bids on the D1 regionals.

Re: 2012 regionals awarded

Without verifying, yes.

When Wisconsin bids it's for the Herb Garden.

McInnes isn't big enough to host. I suppose NMU could be the 2011 host, but I'm 99.4% sure it's Tech.

Re: 2012 regionals awarded

2011 host is Tech, per MTU release from '08.

Uh, yeah. Nice thought, but probably not happening.
