Apparently the new standard for "possession" is "coming completely out of the player's hands".

Fine, but the explanation from Perriera (sp?) is laughable. Pretty soon this ball-slurper is going to tell us that, yes, that referee made the absolute correct decision to smack the wide receiver over the head with a chair on the way to the end zone.

Ha, Perreira actually comes on Boston radio every Monday and doesn't come across as a ref suck-up. He criticizes when appropriate.

If Calvin Johnson's catch was incomplete against the Bears...that DEFINITELY was...

SF got their make up call on that 4th and 4 though.

The Johnson thing was obviously ridiculous. This one, the guy had his hand under the ball the whole time and one angle showed it being a catch. There wasn't indisputable evidence.

As for the 4th down play, I have no idea what the rule is anymore, so no idea if that should have been called or not.

The possession rule still baffles me. What did the refs want Calvin Johnson to do? Take the ball to the men's room so it can be red-flagged? :D

Gregory makes Merriweather look like Ronnie Lott. He is a terrible tackler and can't cover for crap. Why is he in there!

Ravens D has Brady talking to himself, with the field position they've had they should have far more than 13 points up there
