The announcer for ESPNU just called the Denver team the Denver Broncos. Yes, really.

So ESPN3 apparently feels my internet at home is not worthy of their mighty service. I'm sitting in my car on Central Michigan's campus...using campus internet to watch the game. And of course, it's not terribly consistent.

Another note: Zucker is either still feeling that injury, or he's already checked out, waiting for his contract. He's not exactly keeping his feet moving if he can avoid it.

Zucker has been slashed, hacked, and generally beaten on since DU played Minnesota and probably before. First to get him out of the game (is there a bounty system in college hockey?) and second to see if he would come up swinging and get put out of the game. On the ice he's dangerous, speedy, skilled, tough and fiery, but he is not ready to step into the NHL.

Congratulations to Ferris State--You played your game and got the win.

Hope you make it to the Frozen Four.

Is ESPN blacking this thing out in home markets? Because my ESPNU just went out, both SD and HD channels.

I dunno. All but 1 of those calls looked like pretty easy decisions to me.

Today did not go as I had hoped. Denver and Miami both lost. Boo.

Well deserved Cornell win. Got boned with some terrible calls and 2, 5 on 3's that weren't deserved. But they persevered and won. Well deserved. Well deserved.
