It's a stupid rule there anyways. They should have just picked the flag up and reviewed it.

Sure, dumb rule.
Bad on the coach.
But also bad on the D for not finishing the play- I always cringe when I see a defender hit way after the guy is down, but prior to the whistle. This is WHY you keep hitting until the whistle is blown. I'd give the D 30% blame for not finishing the play since the whistle didn't blow.

The Lions always seem to find various and interesting ways to lose.
Today's installment was really disappointing......but expected.

Lions screwed themselves in this one. Even after Schwartz's screw-up they had chances to win, and didn't. Classic Lions.

Think of it: the game was essentially lost by a bad rule. Rules are there to make sure that the game is played "correctly" but in this case the rule caused an incorrect result.
But this is a league that has more officiating, more replays, more reviews, more side commentary than any other major sport in the world!! And yet, their own rule got it wrong - delicious irony in retrospect but I am still ****ed at the result. Lions played very well in my opinion and should have won the game, bottom line.
