For the Northfield, I'm guessing
Norwich - Mass-Dartmouth
Neumann - Conn. College

Not offical yet, but the annual Western Thanksgiving weekend tourney (fri & sat) should be held at the CCC.
Teams: SNC, CSS, Lawrence and Marian. s/b first meeting between SNC and former coach Aitken, now @ Marian.
s/b the last year for this tourney, as SNC will join the Oswego Pathfinder field in 2013.
Lawrence will be the opening season opponent that season for SNC.

Oswego returning the favor the following year I assume?

I thought the Pathfinder was a Christmas/New Years tournament, not a Thanksgiving one? I could be mistaking, but I thought it was the Pathfinder tourney that SNC participated in and won during the '07-'08 season?

Pathfinder is a new years/christmas unless they changed.

I believe one year it might have been at TGiving tho.

The pathfinder has always been a Christmas/New Years tournament. The last time St. Norbert was in it Oswego went out to play them and St. Scholastica the following year beating Norbert 4-3 and losing to the Saints 5-4 in a game in which all nine goals were scored in the second period. Eddie couldn't replace Chris Hyk because Tyler Laws was dressed as the backup as Paul Beckwith was out with a groin injury.

It's always been a Christmas tournament.

Glad to see SNC will be back in it. Coghlin and Gosek have a very good relationship, and try to schedule each other whenever they can.

Re: 2012-2013 Holiday Tournament Fields

The primelink looks to be a dandy this year. Two of the teams will be ranked in the top five. One will be in the top ten. Plus, middlebury will probably be ranked.
St. Thomas looks to be back to where they were when Skrypek was there.
I'm looking for close low scoring games as these teams play great defense.
Don't look for many power plays during the weekend. Four of the most disciplined teams in Dlll.

Agreed. Really looking forward to UST coming out next year.

Some year it'd be great to have St. Norbert in the PrimeLink field.....

I would like to see that too, but don't think it would happen unless wick came out the next year. Plus, meeting once a year is enough. :)

I remember that firewagon second period well. I got an e-mail after the game telling me there was an error in the stats because I had all the goals scored in the second period. My response: "They were."

Re: 2012-2013 Holiday Tournament Fields

Oswego had a game against Hobart that same year where eight of the nine goals scored in the game came in the second period when they have up six in the second and lost six to three. Oswego's Matt Whitehead scored the lone first period goal.
