Since the offseason is upon us, I figured I would get a jump start the upcoming season for the Beavers. Here is the old thread the covered the last two year of the team:

So, BSU looses a lot this season with Brad Hunt, Dan Bakala, Shea Walter, Jamie MacQueen, Darcy Findlay and Drew Fisher. May not be huge on the score sheet, but there was a lot of grit and experience there. They will be missed.

But the cupboard isn't completely bare. Freshman Andrew Walsh saw time in net and was more than adequate for a freshman. Jordan George returns up front. The freshman class made some contributions and it is looking like there is a decent crop of recruits coming in.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

Any idea who, if anybody, is replacing Eric Stromberg as the blogger for the Beavers at the Newspaper? I figure there will be more conference talk and updates coming this spring and summer.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

Just a reminder that College Hockey Tonight will continue through the Frozen 4, with our Final Five show this week, the Regionals show next, and the season finale the Fri between Regionals and Tampa.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

Since the offseason is upon us, I figured I would get a jump start the upcoming season for the Beavers. Here is the old thread the covered the last two year of the team:

http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?91558-BSU-10-11-Can-the-Beav-s-Read-the-W-and-be-in-the-Hunt

Those two players are your biggest loss... Jamie MacQueen and Findlay are character guys. I don't think Drew Fisher will be missed all that much.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

Former Beavers Brandon Marino and Riley Wesolowski were named to the All CHL Team! Riley is also up for Defenseman of the Year and Brandon is up for Player of the Year.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

You guys know your schedule or even tentatively yet?

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

Nebraska-Omaha, UMD and Michigan Tech are our Podmates next year, home and home series with these three teams.

Lake Superior and Western Michigan will be at Bemidji for non-conference games. BSU will take part in the Dartmouth Tournament over Christmas/New Years Break with UMass and UNH there as well.

Other conference games have the Beavers at CC, Mankato, Wisconsin and North Dakota. Home with Anchorage, Denver, St. Cloud and Minnesota.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

But you guys don't know when they'll be? I know that SCSU hasn't released a schedule yet but a fan went through the trouble of piecing together a tentative schedule but its got all the dates.

Re: 2012-2013 Bemidji State Beavers: We Are Staying Put

Nothing is official yet. I have seen the tentitive dates, but nothing will be set in stone until probably after the Florida Coaches' Meetings at the end of the month.
