Norm, OZZ won last year, I was 2nd.

Thanks for starting the contest this year. I don't know what Jabber's situation is this year, but he should be congratulated and thanked for his efforts in the past. Running a pick 'em contest is time consuming, as I know from running ECAC-West Pick 'em, the original D-III pick 'em game, for the past seven of its ten year run. I took that game over when our good friend Purple&Gold went off to college. Perhaps in a week or so, should Jabber not be able to run this year's game, some other D-III college hockey fan (from a SUNYAC school...we know that you are out there) can come forward and take over this, the 2nd oldest D-III pick 'em game. I hope so.

I am hoping all is well with Jabber, though his absence is concerning. Among his last posts is a note that he has a "New baby due December 18th", hopefully he is just to busy to get on.

I would love to be able to run it, but the casino I am primarily responsible for is in the final stages of a nearly $100 million expansion, coming close to doubling their size, it should be complete just about the time the season ends.

If no one steps forward by Thursday, I will post week 2.

I wouldn't mind stepping up for Jabber and the pick'em this year, I did a NESCAC Pick'em last year, and I'm an Oswego Grad, It would be an honor helping run the second oldest pick'em.

I would like to apologize to all involved in the past for incredibly, absolutely forgetting about this pick 'em. True, I do have a baby coming on 12/12/12, the 3 year old is kicking my ***, as is the business. I forgot to do any other pick em, both the D1 & D3 fantasy leagues, and feel awful about it. I can still do it; just let me know.

Thanks for the kudos : ) I still plan on continuing my NESCAC Pick'em from last season, I'm going to change the scoring format a little and hopefully everyone comes back to play again. I will have the first week up early so everyone can get their picks in.
