That's right, it's once again time for the annual Poser Of The Year!

Polls will be up later tonight, as I gather the data needed. What is Poser Of The Year, you might ask? Well, it's when the posters of USCHO gather together and vote for who they think was the biggest poser. Pretty simple.

It's not an award you want, unless you're an idiot. So start thinking about who you are voting for, and if you have any questions, you can ask here.

Again, the polls will be up later tonight.:cool:

Where is the history of prior winners? Or is that deliberately hidden from view to protect the guilty?

I know you enjoy having the honor, Brent, but UMICH drives me nuts sometimes. And I know he drives you someplace, too... not exactly sure where- probably to drink.

I don't think I recall all the winners. I know Dirty knows them all, including the years they won. Past "winners" include nate91_b, Dirty, Brenthoven, Dude Love (current champ. Editor's note: He really did want to win the award, which takes the fun out of giving the award out).

As for voting rounds, you'll have to wait and see!

Remember: this is over the year 2010, and whatever you think the definition of a poser is, on this board, is the person you should vote for. I will be voting in the beginning, but as we dwindle down the candidates, I will abstain from voting as in years past, in case a tiebreaking vote has to be made. I will announce when I stop casting my vote.

Haha, I'm not even nominated. I have posted a lot this year as well. But I believe it is overall voting that counts.

It would be interesting if we could get most posts in the last year. Then you could cut out the people who don't post.

but then who really cares that much.

I thought at one time it was top 100 posters, but I see I am in this gong show at 106. Doesn't matter; it's Brent's deal and he can run it how he wants. Plus I'm not a big enough a-hole to anyone (there may be a few SCSU fans who disagree) to get more than 20 votes. :D

It's top 100 "active" posters. I didn't specifically look up every poster, but some that I didn't know for sure I did check. And besides, if I did strictly top 100, then Board would be there, and it'd be a landslide. :p

Edit: and Bro Gin, Quiz is not in this year's tourney. Moran. :rolleyes:

All it would take is somebody just saving the tallies of all the posters right now, and then in a year plug in the new numbers in an excel spreadsheet.

Honestly I'm surprised that Ralph doesn't already do this.
