2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

I don't think my own rooting interest has any bearing on the fact that I find Boston sports fans to be obnoxious.

Lol considering your own city is the same way and that montreal might have the most obnoxious fans in the nhl

So what happened to bobrovsky? I know philly made it to game 6 of the cup finals and dominated most of this year but it amazes me they think this goaltending carousel is a solution

Preds tie it with 38 seconds left. C'mon guys, you deserve one friggin' trip to the 2nd round.

Go preds...down with corey perry

I'll prob be dead wrong but I could see this one being the longest OT game in this year's playoffs

Also, where is colin wilson? Is he hurt? Or has he just been a healthy scratch?

After I mentioned how much less often that the EAG occurs in the NHL than NCAA. Would love to have some exact stats on that.

Orrrrrrrr...... not

Ugly, ugly, ugly win by Buffalo. Close it out at home on Sunday? Please?

Does it get much better than a weekend quadruple-header?

Let's see if my new home team, the Tampa Bay Collegians, can slow down the Penguins. Drop the puck :)

Goal Simon Gagne, assist to Hockey East (Purcell). 1-0 Bolts. Beautiful passing.

Stamkos makes it 2-0. Assist to the CCHA (Adam Hall).

I had decided - on a lark - to keep track of the former college players to see if they made the difference one way or another.

Doesn't seem like there's much point anymore. Looks like the real difference is that one of these teams just wasn't ready to go today.

This thread should be titled: Can the goalies stop anything? :D

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs: Can the goalies be stopped?

Strangely the Pens really have been the better team as far as possession and zone time, even shots. Tampa just is scoring on every chance they get.

Bolts up 7-1.

Chris Connor scores. Waiting for the response from the smallest member of the MTU contingent.

Nashville finally gets their 3rd win in a playoff series.

I dare say that people are starting to believe they may actually get out of the first round. We have a "roundabout" (rotary) here with a large sculpture of like 8-9 people, and they've been decked out in Preds' shirts. It may not be Boston/Montreal/Chicago/etc., but good to see some spirit. I expect it will be very loud tomorrow - looking forward to it.
