Re: 2011 National Champion

Well if you went to vegas and there was a line, which of course there isn't, BC would be, say 5-1 to win, and UND 20-1. But having said that most likely it will be OTHER. Still it's fun to speculate, And as they say in investing, "past performance is no guarantee of future returns".

Re: 2011 National Champion

If one the other hand one were to say that Brown were to even make to the ECAC Tournament let alone the NCAA tournament they would be highly overrating Brown.

That's an excellent rant, but every team from the ECAC makes the tournament.

Re: 2011 National Champion

I am a new user to this forum but from reading the posts on this board I can conclude with reasonable certainty that most of you either can't read or don't know what overrated means.
As you can clearly see from Eagefan's signature BC has one 2 of the past 3 NCAA National Championship and 5 out of 10 of the last Hockey East Championships. If you couldn't see that then you can't read. They have also gone to the been in the Frozen Four 7 times in the past 10 years and gone to the NCAA Tournament 9 time in the past 10 years. By simple statistics alone you can see that they have been one of if not the best team in the past 10 years, so by saying they are probably going to make it to the frozen four and maybe win it again this year does not make them overrated.

The problem is not our reading comprehension it’s that we can’t decipher the cryptic posts. What does “…BC has one 2 of the past 3 NCAA…” mean? What about
“They have also gone to the been in the Frozen Four…”????

Merrimack College making the FF wouldn't be a surprise. They look awfully good at home ice. They've beaten BC twice this year.

WOW...that is all I can say right now...WOW. From the laughing stock of Hockey East to a very real and possible spot in the National scene in just a few years. WOW!! Thanks for the belief in MC BCeagle!!
