Since google is your friend, it looks like

bilateral leg injury = sprain
which is kinda like:
contusion = bruise

It just sounds better.

well he was a basketball guy in high school...:p

Maybe this is just a reason for Mauer to take time off to figure his **** out at the plate and stop giving other teams' second basemen fielding practice during games.

I'm still in shock that we're playing the MTU role in the AL Central right now, and that its led by Cleveland and KC at 10-4. :eek:
