2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Well, the game has been canceled. The weather just isn't going to let up tonight in NYC. MLB will find a date that works best for both teams (yeah right) and the game will be made up then. Two trips to NYC this year!

Yaaaaaa, they're ******* for calling that game. It was raining, but it wasn't all that hard, more of a misty rain than a downpour. Ah well, I've got a ticket to any future game in the next 12 months!

Nishioka breaks his leg and the Twins lose 4-3. The curse of Casilla?

We are about to see the beginning of the Luke Hughes era. ;)

See...I think that too. The whole reason they sent Hughes down was so he wouldn't just sit on the Twins bench. Call him up and let him start.

The Twis must still see pine trees in center.

Were they seeing them in Toronto and New York as well? Why does it seem that instead of a few players being in slumps, the whole team goes into hitting slumps at once?

Excellent question. I wonder the same thing.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Isn't this team supposed to be all about hitting? Our starting pitching has been fairly atrocious and we don't even have a chance to steal games cause we're batting 29th in the league. (team average.) I understand it's only 9 games in, but the starting signs here this year aren't looking great..

Nathan blows a 2-0 lead. Now will he let us lose the game in the same inning?

Well, its nice to still have a closer in the pen after the closer blows a save.

Good to see the Twins continue the trend of MN having **** sports teams.
