2011 College Football Part II: Bowls, The Rematch, and Recruiting >Tebow

Re: 2011 College Football Part II: Bowls, The Rematch, and Recruiting >Tebow

Delaying the inevitable.

Bad snap. That would be unreal.

I hope he shanks it. Fricking pansy coaches today.

It's 2nd down. They'd throw it to the beer vendor and reset it.

I feel so bad for Williamson...

Blackmon pretty much declares. No surprise.

Bielema has now blown, from what I remember:

2008 MSU- Loses his head after a holding call and gets an unsportsmanlike conduct that pushes them out of field goal range. Rest of the team is rattled and I believe the team picked up another personal foul later. Then, my favorite part, on 4th down with the clock running MSU sends the FG team onto the field and Bielema calls timeout with 12 seconds left! Timeout allows MSU to set up without hurrying and Swenson nails it, 25-24 MSU win.

2010 MSU- I don't recall this, but apparently Bielema wasted a timeout when he didn't have to in this game also. It was a 10 point game so I don't know how much it would've helped, but this is mostly here because of the "stubbed toe" comment.

2010 TCU- After running up the score many a time and continually making "stubbed toe" remarks to show why UW should be in the Rose Bowl, they lose to TCU in the Rose Bowl. I don't recall if his coaching affected this game, but with all he did to campaign for that game he should've won.

2011 MSU- East Lansing must have a hex. MSU was looking to run the clock out until OT after the Cousins fumble that made it like 2nd and 22. An OT period which Wisconsin would have had all the momentum. Instead Bielema calls timeout and what ensues becomes perhaps the greatest game of the college football season and one of the best games in the history of Michigan State football.

2011 Oregon- Well, we all saw it.

It is only right that Luck joins Manning now, with their conference titles, national titles, Heisman's and wins in their final Bowl games.

Peyton for NFL MVP, (c) Twitch, I think.

Think about it.

It's weird because we lost, but I don't fell like we lost.

So, the "big" 10 was a shanked fg away from going 0 for today. And here I thought that Nebraska would have been the only win yesterday.

I feel so bad for Williamson...

On one hand, a 29-yd FG should not be rocket science for a college kicker, but on the other hand, he didn't give up 38 points, so you win as a team and lost as a team.

With one game remaining (Kansas State vs. Arkansas), the Big XII has lost 4 non-conference games this season.

With one game remaining (Kansas State vs. Arkansas), the Big XII has lost 4 non-conference games this season.

Missouri lost to Arizona State 30-37
Kansas was blown out by Georgia Tech 20-66
Texas A&M choked against Arkansas 38-42
Iowa State lost to Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl 13-27

The face that no one slipped up against a non-AQ school is quite amazing.

If Bama beats LSU, I would vote OSU #1 if I had a vote.
