Re: 2011 College Football: Occupy GameDay!

Garcia's problem wasn't the number of strikes, it was the number of interceptions. No one cares what you do off the field, but it will be a perfect excuse to jettison you if you don't perform on the field. Once Garcia was benched, all Spurrier need to do was sit and wait.
Definitely.

USC should be at the NCAA offices with pitchforks and torches. I bet you that Miami gets a lighter sentence than SC.

All of Miami's transgressions occurred long ago and statute of limitations kicked in...

Big East football is dying. They have a much better chance if they stay in the Mountain West because they may get the auto-bid when the contract rolls around.

Pretty much this. Unless the Big East can talk the service academies into joining up, they're just not going to have the pull to keep their BCS bid. Boise hauling east for 4-5 weekends a year is going to get old quick.

How would that help? Doc Blanchard is not coming through that door.

I think it's nice of Cal to get the crap beat out of them on Thursdays now, it gives their students more time over the weekend to not shower and to burn American flags.
