I think they can be good when they want to be, but right now need to be a lot more consistent. I think the pollsters all go for the last years results early in the season, rightly or wrongly, but it shouldn't take for the season to be half over for it to shake out.I see your point and sorry for assuming, Yale is a good team and with health and some more experience will be better. Right now they are inconsistent and vulnerable to being worn down by larger hard hitting teams. The defense is very spotty and if not for Malcolm in goal would really be exposed. As far as the east coast thing, I think early in a season these pollsters tend to work off of last seasons numbers and do not judge a team by realistic observation. Once the holidays are over most of the teams will shake down into their proper rankings. I always wonder who the single "number one" vote comes from for Yale, must be a real fan though.
