Not a great first period for BC. In 15 seconds Whitney changed this game. Draws the penalty, chokes on the open net on the delayed penalty, and then grabs the facemask for no reason to nullify 1:45 of powerplay time.

York is off his rocker. He's got J Whitney on defense on the PK. Ridiculous.

Nate Gerbe is in the house. Any BU injuries are his fault tonight, of course.

Also of note is that BC had 3 clear cut odd-man rushes and didn't pass on a single one of them. All 3 right into the chest of Millan.

I could have sworn the Bruins didn't have a game till Thursday. Shows you how much I pay attention.

The Garden needs to knock off the canned music with two pep bands in the house.

BC scores. 1-1. S Whitney with a rainbow shot over Millan off defenseman's stick after BC looks retarded for the entire period so far. BC looks ridiculous tonight, BU will be back on top before long if this continues.

Well, at least they killed off one of the penalties. And they got out of the first minute of the period. Yeah, I got nothing.
