What the heck could they be looking at?

A previous no goal I guess.

Welcome back Washington. Could have used that before the MTL goal...

And everyone head to the bombshelter in Washington.

Finally a Caps PP. Refs had to call it after the brutal handpass call.

It was a Habs player that did that handpass.

Out of all that, nevermind the shoving of the goalie, the rugby scrum after that, they somehow saw a hand pass. Wow.

A handpass committed by the Habs, which was perfectly legal. No Caps players' hand is anywhere near that puck, but whatever.

Les Habs may be on the verge of going up 2-0 against the Caps. Meanwhile in NHL headquarters, execs are looking for guns with which to shoot themselves if Montreal wins the series.:D  :D

I'd be pretty cautious about banking this one just yet. Caps PP to start the 3rd, and it's not like this team doesn't have the firepower to erase a two goal deficit.

Montreal's biggest mistake would be to lay back and try to protect the lead...something they've done a few times this year. Just keep playing the same. Defense has been absolutely terrific.

Nah. They'll always have Sidney.

Yeah, Ovie is second tier for them because he's not a North American. They've actually been willing to suspend him for questionable hits (granted, they were token suspensions, but still).

There's Ovechkin.

Nice and early in the period, too. This should be a fun 3rd period.

And the Ovenchicken finally puts in an appearance.

EDIT: Of course, he's still averaged over a point per game in the 22 playoff games he's been in, and is a plus player, which is more than Thornton can say. :p

Most interesting thing to me about that scrum? Andrei Markov taking a shot at Ovechkin - the two are best friends.
