The series is tied 1-1, no matter if you see Union as a rival or not. Who will take this one? I know I will be listening on WRPI to find out.

I have a feeling the weather's going to put a pretty big damper on the crowd tonight, but I'm hoping to be proven wrong. RPI has the chance to deliver Union's first ECAC loss, and I'd love to see the Engineers pull it off.

Has anyone heard anything about the injuries and who we might expect to see on the ice for RPI tonight? I assume D'Amigo is in after playing over the weekend, but haven't heard any updates on Lee or Bergin recently.

Three articles online on the Record site for the game, and nothing was mentioned.

This one counts. This is a game that could be greatly affected by the refs. Our PK has been poor but our PP much improved. If we can avoid any 5 on 3 situations against it would be an improvement over the last game with them. i suspect both teams will come with fire and we may see some early calls by the refs to control the situation-how we react to that kind of game will be pivotal tonight. I sincerely hope we see a full strength RPI squad with Bergin and Lee back and D'Amigo at 100% but there has been no indication that everyone will be back.

Had read something back last week that Bergin was "out until Christmas" which would seem to preclude him from tonight and Friday.

If we come out ready to play, the injuries won't mean a thing. We can play very good hockey without Bergin or Lee.
The talent is there, now we have to get the enthusiasm going.
If we come out the way we did the last time or the way we did against Colgate, spotting them the first period, then we will lose.
We have to play our game from the first drop of the puck, to the last horn.
If we do that, we will win.
This game will have a lot to say about how the rest of the season goes for the Engineers.


LETS GO RED!!!!!!!!!

RC-From a medical standpoint that would be a very long period of time for a Grade 1 concussion to resolve.

Pirri and Kerins I could see working, as all Paul needs is someone who is trigger happy, and we will hear 2/3 of a goal horn. The same would be true with Joel Malchuk, but I don't really see this from Josh and Marty.

I'm not so crazy about these lines. Perhaps Coach is looking to throw Union off their game in period one?

I thought that some of the lines used in the past were showing some real chemistry-perhaps SA is trying to make some changes to reverse that 1-5 trend in the past six games. Lee and Bergin still out and I suspect thsi will be the same until Xmas

Aganst Colgate, Appert said that he adjusted the lines to match up with the Raiders.
I am not necessarily in favor of this, but he is the coach. I think we should put our best lines out there and let the opposition adjust to us.

I had the exact same feeling-put our best foot forward and let the other team try to adjust-especially at home where we get the advantage of last line change on the ice
