UW goes on the PP now, Lee with a good save right off the bat. about 315 left in the 2nd period.

with 222 left in the 2nd, UW is called for tripping, so a lil more 4x4 (16sec worth) before SCSU goes back onto the PP

and that's the end of the 2nd period, SCSU takes a 1-0 lead on a Lasch power play goal off a rebound with 52sec left in the 2nd period.

Wow, so 3 goals so far in 5 periods of the Final Five. Yesterday I expected the low score, but I would have thought a little more scoring was expected today.

Same here, esp with WI being the 2nd leading offense in the country (behind Yale I think?), but both defenses and goalies have been stepping up huge today. SOG now even at 17 thru 2 periods.

CHN front page says SCSU and ND were scoreless in the 2nd. derrrrr, they need to pay attention lol

203 into the 3rd, UW is going on the PP, couldnt hear who on SCSU was whistled for it. 2 min PP

EDIT: It was Hanowski for hooking, i think only his 4th penalty all season or something like that.

2 of SCSU's guys lost their sticks on the PP, one got it back, and Roe went going for a puck and went headfirst into the boards and appears to be injured. 1 sec left on the PP

Roe went into the boards head first trying to make a play on the puck without his stick, he's moving around but it looks like he hit the boards hard... and they just brought out the stretcher

:( I hope it's mostly precautionary and he's allright. Would majorly suck to lose one of our top players right before tourney time...

play is back underway, roe was wheeled off but was moving arms and legs and such, so hopefully it isn't too terrible. WI PP ran out and we're back to 5x5. 1528 left in the game
