It will be exciting for Cardinal fans to see some of the 1986-1987 championship team present at Friday night's hockey game. Got out my old book to see who might be here. Yeo have to have been around awhile,like me, to remember those winning days. They were something! Some of the Oswego former players will remember it well.

I think there will be about 7 of the '86-87 National Champs present Friday night. Chris Panek, Dave Piromalli, Dan Marshall, Scot Sommerivlle, Neil Mulcahy, Dean Reynolds and Bobby Hayden are scheduled to be here. Could be more.

I think Dan marshall wound up on long island coaching,from what i hear he was good a coach. Yes that was some good hockey,would have been nice to be the birds a few times but they were very skilled and deep,not to mention I seem to remember a giant netminder.:eek:...

I agree that with all the BS surrounding today's NCAA, the '87 Cards would have no asterisk....(see Neumann '09)

Close, it almost looks like that, but No, it was Pepsi Light which was sold in the 1970 & 80's. (Not to be mistaken for Crystal Pepsi which came out a little later).
