The templates are written for the Average Person.

The Average Person is a moron. cf. some on this thread.

If you have infinite time you could track how the template on a given issue changes over time. They are always jerking the language around for fan service. Enough people write in and the limp language gets a lot more erect. Think of it as fluffing your Senator.

The Senate plays an important role during the confirmation process, a critical aspect of our nation’s system of checks and balances. The Framers recognized the importance of the Senate’s role to provide a check on the executive branch by requiring “advice and consent” over key positions in our government. Kennedy, Jr., to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, among others. In addition, I oppose the nominations of Frank Bisignano and Mehmet Oz. After closely reviewing their records and current work, I continue to be extremely concerned about their ability to faithfully execute the missions of their respective agencies.

In the United States of America, the power comes from the people. And despite everything, the American people are resilient. Your energy, passion, voice, and determination have never been more important. I urge you to contact Republican representatives who are not standing up to President Trump. It only takes four Senate Republicans to protect our democracy from these harmful actions.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact me. I continue to be humbled to be your Senator, and one of the most important parts of my job is listening to the people of Minnesota. I am here in our nation’s capital to do the public’s business. I hope you will contact me again about matters of concern to you.

So now she gets replaced with a "true believer" MAGA....

I don't get how this is a win... Once she steps away, he influence is lost. Good on her for calling out Cheeto von Fuckstik, but too little, too late.
 
She has way more power out of Congress...she can say and do whatever she wants now. They have zero control over her now.

Its easily a win she never voted against him.
